ENGINO is a construction system that has its roots in education. Originally developed for Design and Technology classrooms, it has since become an award-winning product that encompasses a wide range of disciplines, including Structures, Mechanisms, Renewable Energy, and even Robotics Control. What sets ENGINO apart is its patented geometry, which allows for seamless connectivity in all directions of 3D space using a simple snap-fit method. This makes it incredibly accessible for children in primary schools to build complex models.
The ENGINO team has also created a 3D model viewer application that provides easy access to new models developed by the team as well as by users themselves. While all ENGINO sets come with step-by-step instructions for the main models, the application opens up the possibility of creating countless additional models. In today's technology-driven world where smartphones and tablets have become ubiquitous, it is crucial to enable users to explore new model ideas on these devices.
The model viewer boasts an extensive library of continually updated models ranging from cars, motorbikes, planes, and helicopters to trucks, cranes, and more. Users can select the model they want to view and then manipulate it within the application. They can rotate the model to examine it from different angles, zoom in to observe connecting details, and most notably, explode the model to see how each part connects to one another.
